I went to the special exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing at the Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art.

The role of objects recalled by people's memories.

Bronze statues, buildings, printed matter, videos, keepsakes.

And also the way we perceive these objects. This Side and That Side...

After listening to the curator's talk, I felt that objects with particularly strong historical backgrounds strongly reflect the local, historical and international backgrounds of the time. Sometimes they are used as weapons, destroyed or removed.

Even if they don't exist as objects, I think the most important thing is human memory. Memories that you can't forget even if you want to. I thought that these are the greatest creations made by humans.

It was a very interesting exhibition that was educational, so if you have the chance, please visit the Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art.
